Creating a Workspace
Creating a workspace in Paxalia is quick and simple. You can create as many workspaces as your plan allows, and each one is fully independent.
How to create a workspace
- Open Paxalia and log in to your account.
- From the Workspaces list, tap the + button at the top right.
- Enter a name for your workspace, e.g., Work, Personal, or Finance.
- Choose an emoji icon from the list of 60+ options.
- Select a colour for the workspace — Free users have 19 preset colours. Pro users get a full colour picker.
- Tap Create.
Your new workspace will appear in the sidebar and in the workspaces list. Tap it to open it and start adding notes, goals, and timings.
Workspace name
Choose a name that clearly describes the area of your life. Examples:
- Work — for your job or professional projects.
- Personal — for personal tasks, habits, and goals.
- Finance — for budgeting, expenses, and financial goals.
- Learning — for courses, books, and skill development.
- Side Project — for passion projects outside work.
- Health — for fitness, meal planning, and wellness.
Workspace icon
Paxalia provides over 60 emoji icons to choose from. Pick one that represents your workspace — for example:
- 💼 for Work
- 🏠 for Personal
- 💰 for Finance
- 📚 for Learning
- 🎨 for Creative
- 🏋️ for Health
You can change the icon at any time by editing the workspace.
Workspace colour
The workspace colour is used in the sidebar, workspace cards, and as the accent colour for the workspace's dashboard. Free users have 19 preset colours to choose from. Pro users get a full colour picker with unlimited custom colours.

- Pro — unlimited custom colours via the full colour picker.
Pin your favourite workspaces
You can pin workspaces to the top of your sidebar for quick access. Pinned workspaces appear at the top of the workspaces list.
- Open the workspaces list.
- Find the workspace you want to pin.
- Tap the pin icon next to its name.
- The workspace will move to the top of the list.
To unpin, tap the pin icon again.
