Export & Import Notes
Paxalia gives you full control over your notes. You can export them in multiple formats, and import notes from other formats.
Export formats
You can export notes in three formats:

| Markdown | Plain‑text format with Markdown syntax | Developers, version control, plain‑text workflows |
How to export a note
- Open the note you want to export.
- Tap the ⋮ (more) menu in the top right.
- Select the export format:
- Export as HTML — saves as an HTML file.
- Export as PDF — saves as a PDF file.
- Export as Markdown — saves as a Markdown file.
- Choose a location to save the file.
How to import a note
- Open the workspace and tap the Notes tab.
- Tap the ⋮ (more) menu.
- Select Import.
- Choose the file type:
- HTML — import from an HTML file.
- Markdown — import from a Markdown file.
- Select the file from your device.
- The note will be imported and will appear in your notes list.
Supported import formats
You can import notes from the following formats:
- HTML — most HTML documents are supported. The content will be converted to the Quill format.
- Markdown — standard Markdown is supported. The content will be converted to the Quill format.
Not all HTML or Markdown features are guaranteed to convert perfectly. For the best results, keep your documents simple.
