Timings Overview
The timing grid is your 24‑hour visual planner. You create blocks for different activities — Deep Work, Email, Exercise, Reading — and drag them onto the grid to design your perfect day.
Three views
The timing grid has three views, each with a different slot structure:
| View | Slots | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Year | 12 months (Jan–Dec) | Plan at the yearly level — place blocks across months. |
| Month | Days in the month | Plan at the monthly level — place blocks on specific days. |
| Day | 24 hours | Plan at the daily level — place blocks on specific hours. |
You can switch between views at any time using the tabs at the top of the timing page.
How the timing grid works
The timing grid shows slots (months, days, or hours) depending on your selected view. You can:
- Create — create a new timing block with a title, time range, and colour.
- Drag — drag blocks from the unslotted area onto the grid.
- Resize — drag the edges of a block on the grid to change its duration.
- Move — drag a block to a different slot.
- Remove — drag a block from the grid back to the unslotted area.

Colour‑coded blocks
Each timing block can have a colour. This helps you visually distinguish different activities:
- Deep work — indigo or blue
- Exercise — orange or red
- Reading — purple or green
- Meetings — yellow or amber
Free users get 19 preset colours. Pro users get a full colour picker.
