Creating & Editing Summaries

Summaries are your daily reflections. This guide shows you how to create, edit, and delete them.

Creating a summary

  1. Open the workspace and tap the Summaries tab.
  2. Tap the + button to create a new summary.
  3. Enter a title for your summary, e.g., "Productive sprint day" or "Deep design work".
  4. Write your reflection in the description field.
  5. Select an importance level — Spotlight, Standard, or Side Quest.
  6. Tap Save to create the summary.

Your summary will appear in the summaries list and on the dashboard.

Writing a good summary

A good summary captures the essence of your day:

  • Be specific — what did you actually do?
  • Include wins — what went well today?
  • Include challenges — what was difficult?
  • Set intentions — what do you want to do tomorrow?

Examples:

  • Good: "Shipped the timeline drill‑down. Built two live pages with HyperRender. Blocked all distractions until 2pm."
  • Bad: "Worked on the app."

Editing a summary

  1. Open the workspace and tap the Summaries tab.
  2. Find the summary you want to edit.
  3. Tap the summary to open it.
  4. Edit the title, description, or importance level.
  5. Tap Save to update the summary.

You can also edit a summary from the dashboard by tapping it.
