Notes Overview

Notes are rich‑text documents that live inside your workspace. They are built with the Quill editor, which gives you full control over formatting — fonts, colours, size, alignment, lists, and more.

What are notes?

Notes are your primary tool for capturing ideas, writing documents, and recording information. Each note belongs to a workspace and has:

  • Title — the name of the note.
  • Content — rich‑text content with full formatting.
  • Paper colour — choose from preset colours or the Pro color picker.
  • Creation date — when the note was created.
  • Last updated — when the note was last modified.

The Quill editor

Quill is a powerful rich‑text editor that gives you complete control over your notes:

Text formatting

  • Bold — make text bold.
  • Italic — make text italic.
  • Underline — underline text.
  • Strikethrough — strike through text.

Text styling

  • Font family — choose from 15+ Google Fonts.
  • Font size — small, normal, large, extra large.
  • Text colour — choose from preset colours (Pro gets a full color picker).
  • Background colour — highlight text with a background colour.

Alignment and lists

  • Text alignment — left, centre, right, justify.
  • Bullet lists — create unordered lists.
  • Numbered lists — create ordered lists.

Note paper colours

Each note can have its own paper colour. This helps you visually distinguish notes and make them more readable.

  • Free users — 9 preset paper colours.
  • Pro users — full colour picker with unlimited custom colours.

Note templates

You can start from pre‑built templates to save time:

  • Blank — start from scratch.
