Session Upload & History

When you complete a timer session, you upload it to your history. This stores the session permanently and adds its time to your totals and analytics.

What happens when you upload?

When you tap Upload after stopping the timer, the following happens:

  • The session is saved to your local database.
  • The session is added to your History list.
  • The total time for the day is updated.
  • The session is synced to the cloud (if you have sync enabled).
  • The timer resets to zero, ready for your next session.

What is stored in a session?

Each uploaded session stores:

  • Date — the date of the session.
  • Start time — when the session started.
  • Duration — the total time elapsed (including pauses).
  • Pause time — the total time spent paused.
  • Upload time — when the session was uploaded.
  • Timeline — the timeline attached to the session (if any).

The duration includes pauses. The upload time is the working time minus pauses.

Viewing your history

Your history is displayed on the timer page. Each session is listed with its date, start time, duration, and timeline.

  • Single‑click a session to select it.
  • Double‑click a session to see the detailed view with pauses and timeline breakdown.

The history shows only today's sessions by default. To see sessions from other days, use the date selector at the top of the timer page.

Deleting a session

  1. In the history list, select a session.
  2. Tap the Delete button.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a session removes it from your history and subtracts its time from your totals. This action is permanent.

Syncing sessions

If you have sync enabled, your sessions are automatically synced to the cloud. This means you can see your history on all your devices.

When you upload a session, it is marked as needing sync. The next sync will push it to the server.
