Sync Settings

Sync keeps your data consistent across all your devices. When sync is enabled, your data is automatically synchronised to the cloud.

How sync works

When sync is enabled, changes are automatically sent to the server and pulled from the server:

  • Push — when you create, edit, or delete data, it's sent to the server.
  • Pull — changes from other devices are fetched from the server.
  • Periodic sync — sync runs automatically every 10 minutes.

Sync requires an active internet connection.

Enabling and disabling sync

You can enable or disable sync at any time:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Sync Settings.
  3. Toggle the Enable Sync switch.

When sync is disabled, no data is sent to or from the server. All changes are saved locally only.

Manual sync

You can manually trigger a sync at any time:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Sync Now.
  3. The app will immediately sync all data.

A progress indicator shows the sync status. When sync is complete, you'll see a confirmation.

What is synced?

All your data is synced, including:

  • Workspaces and workspace settings
  • Notes, notes content, and paper colours
  • Goals and goal books
  • Timelines
  • Timings
  • Summaries
  • Events
  • Alarms
  • Pages
  • Custom themes

Sync status

The sync status shows:

  • Idle — sync is not currently running.
  • Syncing — sync is in progress.
  • Success — the last sync completed successfully.
  • Error — the last sync failed. Check your internet connection.
