Summary Overview

Summaries are daily reflections that help you capture what you accomplished, how you felt, and what you want to improve. They are a powerful tool for self‑awareness and continuous improvement.

What is a summary?

A summary is a short reflection on your day. Each summary has:

  • Title — a short, memorable title for your summary.
  • Description — the content of your reflection (up to 500 characters for Free, 5000 for Pro).
  • Importance level — Spotlight, Standard, or Side Quest.
  • Creation date — when the summary was created.
  • Last updated — when the summary was last modified.

Summaries are scoped to your workspace. Each workspace has its own summaries.

Why write summaries?

Summaries are more than just notes. They are a practice of reflection:

  • Capture your wins — what did you accomplish today?
  • Identify patterns — what's working? What's not?
  • Set intentions — what do you want to focus on tomorrow?
  • Build self‑awareness — understand your habits and rhythms.
  • Track progress — see how your work evolves over time.

Where are summaries shown?

Summaries appear in two places:

  • Dashboard — the three most recent summaries are shown on the dashboard for quick access.
  • Summaries tab — all summaries are listed in the Summaries tab of your workspace.

On the dashboard, each summary shows its title and importance level, with a colour indicator matching the importance level.

Importance levels

Each summary can be assigned an importance level:

Level Description Colour
Spotlight Your most important reflection — a significant win or a key insight. Amber
Standard A regular daily reflection — what you did and how it went. Grey
Side Quest A reflection on a side project, a small win, or a learning moment. Blue
